Tonee is a social studies student and maximalist multidisciplinary artist. I explore themes of identity, culture, and expression across various platforms. My creative practice centers on the tactile richness of pottery and embroidery, embracing intricate detail and vibrant aesthetics. This interest in diverse forms of expression informs my academic research, which currently focuses on analyzing the construction and portrayal of sex and gender within Asian Boys' Love (BL) media narratives. I investigate how these representations engage with contemporary social dynamics. Beyond my academic and artistic pursuits, I am a dedicated advocate for animal rights, committed to promoting ethical treatment and welfare."
