Kenny Nguyễn is a working illustrator and fine artist. He graduated with a degree in Illustration/Fine Arts from Lesley University College of Art and Design, Cambridge, MA, USA. Following his studies, Kenny returned to Ho Chi Minh City, where he now lives, works, and contributes as both Illustrator and Picture Editor for Robb Report Singapore and Malaysia.

Kenny’s works are often personal, abstract and poetic. During his time studying abroad, Kenny was fascinated by the technique of printmaking and book-binding. This dynamic – the folds of paper with the scent of ink in the printshop – is always a source of motivation and inspiration for the artist.

Since returning from the States in 2015, Kenny has embarked on a journey to rediscover his roots through his mother's Nùng heritage, a minority group in Vietnam. Drawing upon his family's spiritual encounters, Kenny's drawings delve into the unconscious realms of cosmos and psyche, using Western astrology as his artistic gateway.

Kenny’s artworks have been exhibited/collected by a number of institutions abroad such as: : ‘Bainbridgre Island Museum of Art’ (Bainbridge Island, WA, 2019), ‘Kệ – A History of NOW’ (Wedeman Gallery, Newton, MA, 2017), ‘Spotlight On Book Arts’ (Lesley University, Cambridge, MA, 2016), ‘Sheffield International Artist Book Prize’ (Bank Street Arts, Sheffield, UK, 2015), etc.
