I’m an artist and curator born in Hanoi, Vietnam, currently based in Houston, U.S.A. My primary medium is painting, where I employ transparent color washes and voyeuristic compositions to evoke feelings of longing, loneliness, and calmness. My work blends my memory and surreal imagery to express the grief and hope of my queer migrant experience.

I received my Master’s in Museum Studies at San Francisco State University (SFSU) in 2017, with a focus on Curation and Education. My final thesis is “Arts and Society: How Vietnamese Independent Arts Organizations Serve and Impact Communities.” I received my B.A in Studio Arts at SFSU with a focus on Sculpture and Painting in 2014.
